We all have those moments although the older I get the more I seem to have. 

Planter does NOT have a drainage hole. When succulents are planted in pots lacking drainage holes, they require careful watering. This entails watering them only when the soil has dried out, rather than relying on rainwater. While it's fine to leave these pots in the sun, they must be shielded from rain to prevent overwatering and the potential for root rot. Succulents prefer a dry environment.
