Postage and handling

We are happy to post pots and accessories to TAS, NT and WA, however, cannot post live plants to Tas. NT or WA due to your state's bio security laws. 

Postage Costs

Flat Rate: All orders are shipped Express Post at a flat rate of $14.95 through Australia Post.

Postage Times

Weekly deadline for orders is 6pm Fridays. Your order will be posted the following Monday, unless it is a Public Holiday, then your package will be sent Tuesday. 

Orders after 6pm Fridays will be posted the subsequent week. 

Packaging

All our orders are packed with care, with each plant individually wrapped and labeled and sent in an Australia Post express post mailing box. 

Plants are sent bare rooted with minimal soil and no pot. 

Tracking Your Order

Once your order is in the hands of Australia Post you will receive a tracking number, either by email or text. Don't forget to check your spam/junk folder if you haven't received the email. 

Note: Once the package is with Australia post, any issues relating to package damage or delivery delays are the responsibility of Australia Post and any concerns should be directly taken up with Australia Post. 

Included in Express Delivery is insurance up to $100 for lost or damaged products, provided the fault is due to Australia Post. 

If plants or products do arrive damaged, please send a photo of the goods and packaging within 24 hours in order to assist you as soon as possible. 

Delivery

After you have done your happy dance because your package has arrived, check inside the box for care instructions, or see our 'about us' page for information.

Additional Information

Your plants will arrive bare rooted with minimal soil and need a few days drying time prior to postage. 

The plant you order will be one from the photos shown in the listing but may appear slightly smaller, wrinkled or dehydrated. This is normal, especially for a sun loving succulent that has just had a few days journey in a dark box. Once you pot your plant, find its happy place at your home and water it, the plant should bounce back to its amazing self. 

While we have not experienced any concerns thus far, remember that you paid on time, we have chosen a healthy plant and wrapped and sent carefully and on time, any time between sending and arriving your package is in the hands of Australia post. Neither you nor we have any control or proper insight on handling or delays. Although a crystal ball would be advantageous at times. 

Not all succulents are created equal with some being more delicate than others. The more delicate may lose leaves in transit. Take this as an opportunity to practice those leaf propagating skills you have wanted to try. Obviously if the plant has more than expected damage, contact us with photos and we will assist with suggestions, replacement or refund. Remember Emu Plains succulents are not responsible for damage to products that is obviously a result of the postal/delivery service.  Positive communication with us is the key.
