Echeveria 'Hyalina'(Japanese)

A refined collector's succulent prized for its compact, symmetrical rosette and softly coloured foliage. Its fleshy leaves display delicate shades of pale green, blue-grey and silvery white, often developing beautiful pink to lilac highlights in bright light and cooler weather. A natural powdery coating, known as farina, gives the plant its elegant frosted appearance.

This Japanese-grown form is relatively slow growing and may produce offsets as it matures. Its colouring and form will vary with the season and growing conditions, making every plant unique.

Care

• Light: Provide bright light or gentle morning sun. Acclimatise gradually to stronger sunlight.
• Water: Water thoroughly only when the potting mix is completely dry. Avoid leaving water in the rosette.
• Soil: Use a gritty, free-draining succulent mix in a pot with drainage holes.
• Protection: Keep sheltered from heavy rain, extreme heat and frost.
• Handling: Avoid touching the leaves, as this can permanently mark the delicate farina.

Please Note:

Plants are sent bare rooted. A snazzy way of saying it will arrive with minimal or no soil or pot.

Succulents need to travel with the least moisture as possible due to potential problems, such as rotting. This means they are taken out of their pots and their roots are allowed to dry out before sending. As a result, plants may arrive looking slightly different to photos. Some maybe a little dry looking or slightly wrinkled leaves for example, remember succulents are hardy and will bounce back with a little TLC. TLC instructions will be within your order.
