Echeveria Rosanna (Echeveria colorata x lauii )

Echeveria 'Rosanna' is a slow-growing hybrid that blends the powdery elegance of E. lauii with the graceful curves of E. colorata. It forms a loose, open rosette of broad, spoon-shaped leaves in soft silvery blue, often blushed with pink at the tips. The leaf surface is coated in a fine, chalky farina that gives it a frosted, pastel look—especially in cooler weather or bright light.

• Rosette size: 10–14 cm across

• Leaf colour: Silvery blue with pink tips

• Form: Open, sculptural rosette with powdery coating

• Flowers: Coral-pink blooms on tall stalks in spring/summer

• Light: Prefers full sun to bright filtered light. In cooler zones (VIC, TAS, SA), give it maximum sun. In hotter zones (QLD, WA), protect from harsh afternoon rays to avoid leaf scorch.

• Water: Water deeply, then allow soil to dry out completely. Reduce watering in winter or during humid spells.

• Soil: Needs a sharply draining succulent mix. Add coarse sand, scoria, or perlite for extra airflow.

• Climate: Best in temperate to arid zones. Protect from frost and heavy rain. 

• Maintenance: Avoid touching the leaf surface to preserve the powdery coating. Remove spent leaves and flower stalks to keep the rosette tidy.

Plants are sent bare rooted. A snazzy way of saying it will arrive with minimal or no soil or pot.

Succulents need to travel with the least moisture as possible due to potential problems, such as rotting. This means they are taken out of their pots and their roots are allowed to dry out before sending. As a result, plants may arrive looking slightly different to photos. Some maybe a little dry looking or slightly wrinkled leaves for example, remember succulents are hardy and will bounce back with a little TLC. TLC instructions will be within your order.
