Echeveria 'Marshmallow' (small)

A soft-hued hybrid with a compact, symmetrical rosette, Echeveria ‘Marshmallow’ is named for its pale, powdery foliage and gentle colour transitions. Leaves range from silvery green to blush pink depending on light exposure, with a matte finish that enhances its sculptural appeal. This cultivar remains low-growing and may produce offsets over time, making it suitable for shallow bowls, windowsill pots, or mixed arrangements.

Light Requires bright, indirect light or filtered sun. Colour saturation improves with outdoor exposure, but protect from harsh midday rays. Indoors, position near a north or east-facing window or use grow lights.

Soil & Potting Use a gritty, free-draining succulent mix. Terracotta or unglazed ceramic pots are preferred for breathability. Avoid deep containers—shallow bowls encourage healthy root spread and offset formation.

Watering Follow the “soak and dry” method. Water only when soil is completely dry. 

Climate Not frost-tolerant. Best grown in temperate zones or protected outdoor areas. Move under cover during heavy rain or cold snaps.

Propagation Offsets may form seasonally. Separate and replant in spring or early summer. Leaf propagation is possible but slower.

Maintenance Remove dried basal leaves to prevent rot and pests. Rotate pots for even growth and colour development.

Succulent colours can change due to the time of year, environment, or growing conditions.

Plants are sent bare rooted. A snazzy way of saying it will arrive with minimal or no soil or pot.

Succulents need to travel with the least moisture as possible due to potential problems, such as rotting. This means they are taken out of their pots and their roots are allowed to dry out before sending. As a result, plants may arrive looking slightly different to photos. Some maybe a little dry looking or slightly wrinkled leaves for example, remember succulents are hardy and will bounce back with a little TLC. TLC instructions will be within your order.
