Echeveria 'Mulan'

Echeveria 'Mulan' is a striking Korean hybrid known for its broad, paddle-shaped leaves and dramatic colour shifts. The rosette is open and sculptural, with thick, powdery blue-green leaves that blush deep pink to red along the edges in bright light or cooler weather. As the plant matures, the contrast intensifies.

Rosette size: 10–15 cm across

Leaf colour: Blue-green base with pink to red marginsFlowers: Coral-pink blooms on tall stalks in spring/summer

• Light: Prefers full sun to bright filtered light. Protect from harsh afternoon rays to avoid leaf scorch.

• Water: Water deeply, then allow soil to dry out completely. Reduce watering in winter or during humid spells.

• Soil: Needs a sharply draining succulent mix. Add coarse sand or perlite for extra airflow.

• Climate: Best in temperate to arid zones. Protect from frost and heavy rain.

• Maintenance: Remove spent leaves and flower stalks to keep the rosette tidy. Avoid overhead watering to preserve the leaf coating and prevent rot.

Plants are sent bare rooted. A snazzy way of saying it will arrive with minimal or no soil or pot.

Succulents need to travel with the least moisture as possible due to potential problems, such as rotting. This means they are taken out of their pots and their roots are allowed to dry out before sending. As a result, plants may arrive looking slightly different to photos. Some maybe a little dry looking or slightly wrinkled leaves for example, remember succulents are hardy and will bounce back with a little TLC. TLC instructions will be within your order.
