Echeveria 'Mystery Madam'

Echeveria ‘Mystery Madam’ is a compact, rosette-forming succulent known for its fine pubescent foliage and seasonal colour shifts. Leaves are typically green-blue with a soft texture, developing pink, orange, or purple tones under environmental stress. This cultivar maintains a symmetrical growth habit and is suitable for container planting, rockeries, or indoor display in well-lit areas. 

• Position: Prefers full sun to part shade. In southern states, full sun is ideal; in northern regions, provide protection from harsh afternoon exposure.

• Watering: Water sparingly. Allow potting mix to dry completely between applications. In temperate zones, water every 10–14 days during active growth; reduce in winter.

• Soil: Requires free-draining succulent or cactus mix. Avoid moisture-retentive soils.

• Fertiliser: Apply a low-nitrogen liquid fertiliser at half strength during spring and summer. Not required during dormancy.

• Climate Suitability: Best grown in frost-free environments. Protect from prolonged wet or humid conditions.

• Maintenance: Remove spent leaves to prevent rot. Repot annually or when rootbound.

Plants are sent bare rooted. A snazzy way of saying it will arrive with minimal or no soil or pot.

Succulents need to travel with the least moisture as possible due to potential problems, such as rotting. This means they are taken out of their pots and their roots are allowed to dry out before sending. As a result, plants may arrive looking slightly different to photos. Some maybe a little dry looking or slightly wrinkled leaves for example, remember succulents are hardy and will bounce back with a little TLC. TLC instructions will be within your order.
