Echeveria Dionysos Monokerotis

Named after the god of wine and revelry, Echeveria Dionysos Monokerotis is a compact, slow-growing succulent with a dramatic flair. Its fleshy, ovate leaves form tight rosettes in shades of olive green and grey-green, speckled with rich maroon or reddish-brown markings. The leaf tips taper to a fine point, giving it a sculptural quality — perfect for pairing with ornate or character-driven planters.

In spring, it sends up tall, branched stalks bearing bell-shaped flowers in pinkish-red with pale yellow tips. 

• Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light or filtered sun. Direct afternoon sun may fade or scorch its markings.

• Watering: Use the “soak and dry” method — water deeply, then allow soil to dry completely. Reduce watering in winter.

• Soil: Needs well-draining succulent mix. Add perlite or pumice for extra airflow.

• Temperature: Protect from frost 

• Humidity: Low humidity is best. Avoid misting or overly damp conditions.

• Growth Cycle: Active in spring and autumn. Slows down in summer heat and winter chill.

• Propagation: Can be propagated from leaf or stem cuttings. Allow cut ends to callous before planting.

• Flowering Note: Rosettes may bloom once and die back, but offsets continue the cycle.

Please Note:

Plants are sent bare rooted. A snazzy way of saying it will arrive with minimal or no soil or pot.

Succulents need to travel with the least moisture as possible due to potential problems, such as rotting. This means they are taken out of their pots and their roots are allowed to dry out before sending. As a result, plants may arrive looking slightly different to photos. Some maybe a little dry looking or slightly wrinkled leaves for example, remember succulents are hardy and will bounce back with a little TLC. TLC instructions will be within your order.
