Echeveria 'Hera'

Echeveria ‘Hera’ – is a sculptural standout with thick, powdery blue-grey leaves edged in soft red. The slightly wavy margins and compact form give it a graceful, star-shaped silhouette. When stressed by sun or cool temps, the red intensifies, turning the whole plant into a blushing beauty.

• Look & Feel: Rosettes up to 20–30 cm wide with broad, slightly curled leaves and a silvery coating.

• Colour Play: Blue-grey base with red margins that deepen under stress or seasonal shifts.

• Growth Habit: Grows on a short stem and slowly produces offsets—ideal for forming a dense clump.

• Light: Thrives in full sun to partial shade. Morning sun brings out the best colour without scorching.

• Watering: Follows the soak-and-dry method. Water deeply, then let the soil dry completely.

• Soil: Needs excellent drainage

• Flowers: In spring, expect arching stalks with pinkish-red, bell-shaped blooms with orange interiors.

• Hardiness: Tender to frost. Best in mild climates or as a pampered indoor guest.

• Propagation: Offsets, leaf cuttings, or stem cuttings in spring or early summer.

Plants are sent bare rooted. A snazzy way of saying it will arrive with minimal or no soil or pot.

Succulents need to travel with the least moisture as possible due to potential problems, such as rotting. This means they are taken out of their pots and their roots are allowed to dry out before sending. As a result, plants may arrive looking slightly different to photos. Some maybe a little dry looking or slightly wrinkled leaves for example, remember succulents are hardy and will bounce back with a little TLC. TLC instructions will be within your order.
