The Echeveria 'purpusorum' is a diminutive succulent, typically reaching a diameter of 7-8 cm when fully grown. Its leaves are triangular, featuring sharp edges and pointed ends.
The foliage displays a range of green hues, from pale to rich olive. Reddish-brown speckles adorn the leaves, intensifying under stress.
During its flowering phase, the Echeveria 'purpusorum' showcases vibrant red blooms with yellow accents.
As a slow-growing species, it exhibits minimal growth, even under optimal conditions.
Echeveria 'purpusorum' can thrive outdoors in suitable climates, preferring conditions of partial sunlight or shade.
Watering should be thorough but infrequent, allowing the soil to completely dry between sessions.
Propagation is feasible through seeds, cuttings, or offsets, yet seed propagation is less favored due to the plant's slow growth rate.
Plants for sale are shown in photos 2 and 3 in a 10cm pot for size comparison, Photo 3 is in a 7cm pot. The images will show the same or similar plant to the one sent to you. Succulent colours can change due to the time of year, environment, or growing conditions.
Where possible a display picture will be added to showcase the beauty or growth habit of the plant.
Please Note:
Plants are sent bare rooted. A snazzy way of saying it will arrive with minimal or no soil or pot.
Our plants are grown outside in all-weather conditions (no hot houses) so some plants may have markings.
Succulents need to travel with the least moisture as possible due to potential problems, such as rotting. This means they are taken out of their pots and their roots are allowed to dry out before sending. As a result, plants may arrive looking slightly different to photos. Some maybe a little dry looking or slightly wrinkled leaves for example, remember succulents are hardy and will bounce back with a little TLC. TLC instructions will be within your order.
